Inspirational Sunday | Happy 2 Years + Giveaway

I am so excited to say that today is my 2nd year anniversary for my blog.  I have definitely came a long way from my first blog post, but I still have a long way to go. I am especially thankful for you guys, the readers. This is a milestone for me, and yes I am going to celebrate this time. So many times, I think to myself, why am I continuing blogging, but it is because it is some thing that I love to do. So I am really grateful for keeping up with this blog for a whole 2 years. Special thank you to my family for taking my pictures when I ask.  I am just honored to continue on this journey of blogging as I see myself growing whether it be in my life and/or my style.

Inspirational Monday

I know today isn't Sunday, but since I am finally done with my Freshman year of college; I thought an Inspirational Monday would still be appropriate. I can not say how much of an exciting experience my first year of college was, even though there would be an upcoming post about my first year experience and advice. This quote really just speaks to me especially since my finals are done. Even when you think you are done and are struggling; God has a plan for you. I truly believe this.  We all know what we are capable of, but those weakness of ours sometimes might get in the way of achieving and accomplishing other things. Simply because we didn't think we could do something because we aren't good enough. I am here to tell you that you are enough. Speak positivity into your life and see how things change. I know sometimes I was in my dorm like how am I going to get through the week, but I always manage to get through the week and come out on top. Don't give up on yourself.

Inspirational Sunday

I really needed to read this quote. I count on people all the time, and sometimes they let me down. At the end of the day, though I still have myself. Often times, you look for qualities in others that you don't necessary find in yourselves, but some times those qualities are inside of us, we just have to dig a bit deeper. No matter what you are going through, you are your own hero, You don't need a knight in shining armor to come and save you because you have all the power you need inside of yourself, if you believe in yourself.  Even on your worst days, write that "S" on your chest because you are a Superwoman.  I know there are times when I don't want to fly, but with Jesus, He makes me want to soar.

Relatable Sunday #12

Thanksgiving is this Thursday.! I know with all the Christmas decorations already, it seems as though it should just be Christmas already. But, I am thankful for the time we do have this year and all the great memories I have thus far. This quote is so true, because sometime people don't wake up the next morning,  friends disappear, and dreams become lost. We should not just be thankful on one day, but everyday. Because life is full of blessings and wonderful surprises and although we may not see them as blessings at that moment, they surely become memorable for us. The experiences we have throughout life, better prepare us for whatever that may come our way next.
