Inspirational Sunday

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It is a blessing to be waking up each and every morning. I know there are days where it seems as though nothing goes as planned, or it just seem as though everything is going wrong. In those times, do not be discouraged, you will always find that little ray of sunshine. Maybe, not at that exact moment, but you will. I think it would be very interesting if we start living by this quote. Looking for something good each day, instead of looking at what went wrong or didn't go as planned.  In fact, this week I am going to tweet out something good from each day with the tag #findsomethinggood. Inspirational Sunday

I really needed to read this quote. I count on people all the time, and sometimes they let me down. At the end of the day, though I still have myself. Often times, you look for qualities in others that you don't necessary find in yourselves, but some times those qualities are inside of us, we just have to dig a bit deeper. No matter what you are going through, you are your own hero, You don't need a knight in shining armor to come and save you because you have all the power you need inside of yourself, if you believe in yourself.  Even on your worst days, write that "S" on your chest because you are a Superwoman.  I know there are times when I don't want to fly, but with Jesus, He makes me want to soar.

So I found this new app called Shopkick. And luckily, I found this just in time for Black Friday. So basically you get "kicks" every time you enter a store that allows Shopkiks like Walmart, Target, Sephora, Old Navy, Macy's, and much more. And those "kicks" add up to get rewards,  and when you have a certain number of "kicks" you can recieve a giftcard to places like Target, Starbucks, JCP, Sephora, and many more. 

 Shopkick also have certain items listed in their app where you can scan a product in store to recieve "kicks."  You can also link your credit or debit card to the app and when you purchase an item with that same credit/debit card, you will be able to recieve "kicks," as well. So I know Black Friday will probably be chaotic for you, but if you just have shopkick on before you enter a store, even though it may be a madhouse, shopkick will pick up that you are in a certain store and you will receive a certain number of "kicks" for entering.

This app is easy to use and I love seeing all the kicks I receive for entering the store, and finding certain items and scanning them.

Relatable Sunday #12

Thanksgiving is this Thursday.! I know with all the Christmas decorations already, it seems as though it should just be Christmas already. But, I am thankful for the time we do have this year and all the great memories I have thus far. This quote is so true, because sometime people don't wake up the next morning,  friends disappear, and dreams become lost. We should not just be thankful on one day, but everyday. Because life is full of blessings and wonderful surprises and although we may not see them as blessings at that moment, they surely become memorable for us. The experiences we have throughout life, better prepare us for whatever that may come our way next.

Relatable Sunday #11

So this quote is pretty much self- explanatory. Instead of just living for myself day- to-day, I want to go out and inspire and help others. I'm positive that I can say that because of someone else I didn't give up, which really impacted my life. Because the times that you do feel like giving up and it seem as though all hope is lost, is when hopefully someone comes along the way, and tell you to "Keep on trying," and to  "Not give up just yet." And with this attitude, I am sure that I can make a positive difference in others around me. And I hope you can as well.

Relatable Sunday #10

I know we hear this quote so many time before, but it is really true. Saying something and then backing it up with your actions is more powerful than just saying something.  Taking action and getting things done. I know we all know that one person that's like "Imma do this, Imma get this, Imma... Imma.."  but it never happens or get done. It then makes you question them as a person and what exactly they are about. For me, I wouldn't want to associate myself with people who only talk the talk, but I would want people who also walk the walk. By doing this, it just reinforces what you say to be more meaningful.

I Can See Clearly Now the Rain is Gone

I got glasses.!! I could see things close up, but far away I couldn't make out certain words and images. So I knew that my vision was changing so I decided to get my eyes check. And sure enough I did need to get some glasses, and I was contemplating whether or not I should get contacts instead. But, I finally made the decision to stick with glasses for now and then upgrade to contacts later.  Because I am scared of poking my eye out or even the contacts getting lost in the back of my eye. YIKES!!!

The place where I got my eye check was not the same place where I got my glasses. I took the prescription from the eye doctor and went over to LensCrafters. LensCrafters had a variety of different glasses color and styles. The people there are really nice and really cater to your needs of what looks best on you and what you can work with (money wise).

After picking up 4 different pairs of glasses that I loved; I finally decided upon theses Coach Tortoise glasses.

I love the way they look on me and the size of the glasses as well. The color is of a darker tortoise shade and the inside is a nice color pattern. A case and eye cloth is also included to your purchase. 

For the prescription I had it only took an hour for them to do my glasses, which was great timing since I needed to look around in the mall.

Can't Wait For: Fall Fashion

So I was on the app "WeHeartIt" and I saw so many pictures that I loved that had a fall incorporated theme. So in this post today I am just going to be showing you all what I can't wait to be wearing.  If you don't know, "WeHeartIt" is kind of like Pinterest where you just "heart" pictures that you like and you can also follow people who also share your same interest.
