Recent Beauty Purchases

One\\ L'Oreal True Match Powder (n8- Cappuccino)
I've purchased this before and I absolutely love it to set my foundation.

Two\\ Maybelline Fit Me Concealer (30- Cafe)
I've purchased this before, also and of course I love this because I feel like I talk about this product  I do every time I do a makeup post.

Three\\ Airspun Loose Powder (Translucent)
I've heard so many positive comments about this powder on Youtube, so I finally picked it up. I mostly use this for baking underneath my eyes, the center of my forehead, and down the bridge of my nose. I'm not sure if I apply to much or leave it on for too long, but sometimes it has a white cast residue leftover.

Four\\ Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil Sample (6-Deep)
This was actually a free gift from Ulta, and this product is one of the many new brow products that is coming out from Benefit. I love how the pencil is shape having the teardrop tip which makes outlining and filling in your eyebrows just that simple.

Five\\Covergirl Ready, Set Gorgeous Foundation (320- Soft Sable)
I was in the need for some new foundation for the summer time, but I love how lightweight this foundation is on my face and it is a bit dewy so I often set it with powder which I need for these hot summer months.

Kiko Cosmetic Purchase

While in one of the malls in Washington, DC, I stumble across this store called Kiko Cosmetics. And it is actually an Italian Company where they only have select stores in the United States. When I went into the store what really caught my eye was how affordable these prices were. This is pretty much like a high end company with drugstore prices, which I completely loved and had to pick up myself a few  products.

I thought this would be perfect to fill in my eyebrows with'; I just need to use a light hand when applying. I had to buy the container, also because the actual eyeshadow just comes in a pan, just like a MAC eyeshadow, but again it wasn't that expensive.

Infinity Eyeshadow ( 289: Mat Dark Oak): $8.00

Empty Case with Repositionable System: $2.00

This jumbo lipgloss stick is glossy on the lips, but not too sticky. I love this color pink on my lips.

Creamy Lipgloss ( 109: Pearly Fushia): $9.00

I wanted to try a new mascara, so of course I picked one up at this store. It is suppose to add volume to your lashes, and it really does do wonders for my itty bitty lashes.

Ultra Tech Mascara (Black): $10.00

I always wanted to try a roller perfume stick, so I thought I would try this brand. This scent is so nice and natural, and the perfume comes with a dust bag.

Eau de Toilette (Rose and Cherry): $13.00

Micro Eyebrow pencil that comes with a mini brush on one end, and then the actual pencil on the other end. I've been using this pencil to outline my eyebrows since I bought it, and I've thoroughly enjoyed it since.

Precision Eyebrow Pencil ( 01: Brunette): $9.00

Perfect shade to add the perfect touch of rosey look on the cheeks that is not too shimmering at all.

Mosaic Blush( 04: Passionate Mauve): $13.00

I bought the next two items from Ulta Beauty Store and at that time Maybelline had a Buy one Get one for 50% off on their products

Maybelline's Master Prime is a primer for the face and I bought the one that is suppose to blur and illuminate the skin. This is a relatively new product from Maybelline, and I love the way it feels on my skin and it really smells nice, and this also have SPF 30, which is always a bonus to me,

Maybelline Face Studio Master Prime Blur + Illuminate: $8.99

This BB cream from Maybelline is a repurchase for me, because I absolutely love it. It is light on the face and perfect for the summer.

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream (Deep): $9.99

Back to School Makeup

I'm going back to school on August 11th, so my summer is sadly winding down. Here are some makeup products that I use and which I thought would be helpful for you guys who are going back to school, too.
Back to School Makeup

FACE:

  • Maybelline BB Cream: gives a great natural coverage while covering your blemishes.
  • L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable Powder: great for setting your foundation/BB cream so that it will last the whole school day; also creates a matte look so you won't appear oily.

EYES:

  • Urban Decay Primer Potion: this will make your eye shadow last all day
  • Sleek Au Naturel Eye Shadow Palette: Sleek is an UK makeup brand, but it is super affordable. The Au Naturel palette have some really good natural matte and some shimmery eye shadows. This palette will help you create a simple, but cute eye shadow look for back to school.
  • Maybelline FIT Me Concealer: for the nights that you did not get enough sleep; dab some of this concealer and blend it under your eyes and you are set. This will brighten the area under your eyes.
  • Maybelline Volume Express Mascara: This mascara gives you length and volume which I like and will definitely make your eyes appear bigger and more awake.
  • NYX Eye Brow Pencil: I use this just to line my eyebrows.
  • ELF Eyebrow Kit: I use the gel side to fill in my eyebrows where it is needed.
  • Maybelline Great Lash Mascara: This is a clear mascara and I simply use this to set my eyebrows so that everything will stay in place for the entire school day.

LIPS:

  • EOS lip balm: I love this lip balm because it makes my lips feel sooo smooth and it smell good also.
  • NYX Butter Gloss Lipgloss: The butter glosses comes in so many different shades which can add a pop of color onto you lips.
