Inspirational Sunday

I haven't posted in a while, but I will catch you all up in another post about some of things that I accomplished this year. I am so thankful that it is winter break and I actually have time to relax and create some new content. 

I chose this quote because I just finished a semester of my junior year of college and it was challenging. Challenging trying to manage everything even when I wanted to give up especially during the later part of the semester. I didn't give up and I kept on pushing through.  Honestly, I love all the support that my family and friends give me. Don't ever feel like you can't reach a goal or accomplish a dream because hunny, you can. As I embark on challenges and achievements of 2017, I can definitely look back and say that I can do anything I put my mind to. 

You can find happiness. 

You can find love. 

You can find joy.

You can find peace. 

You can find hope. 

You can do anything. And I know there are so many people out there who can try to motivate you, but you are your only motivator. When you believe you can, then things will fall into place. 

I have to remind myself of this everyday, especially when trials and tribulations come in my life and I feel defeated. I can remember that the Lord place me on this earth for a purpose and I can rise above all.

Spring Mood Board

I know it isn't quite spring, but it starting to feel like it and also I've been so many clothing line release their spring collection. So I've done one of these inspiration boards before, but I did it for fall like two years ago on my blog. Spring is my second favorite season with my favorite being fall, of course.

Inspirational Sunday

Sometimes we need others to encourage us to get the job done, but sometimes you have to encourage yourself and give your own self motivation. I start my spring semester of my freshman year of college tomorrow, and I know the workload is going to be heavy and that I'm going to have to put in a lot of studying, but hey, I've got this, and so do you. God would never put more on us than we can bare. I know there are many times in your life where you think that God has forgotten about you, but trust me, He has not and He will get you through your situation. If you are worrying about a certain situation, put it in the hands of the Lord because you've got this.  This year 2016 is still freshly new, so start believing and trusting in yourself. If you don't believe in yourself, who will? Be your own motivator, girl because you've got this.

Dorm Room Tour | Freshman Year

This is my dorm room for my freshmen year of college. Hope you all enjoy and maybe get some inspiration for your own dorm room. I apologize that the lightening isn't the best.

The theme for my side was pink and grey and her side was turquoise and black.

I have this step stool for my lofted bed. 

My roommate bought a dresser, so I use all of this space here

Desk 

Binders, makeup brushes, Ethernet cord, hole puncher  

Sticky notes, stapler, push pins, coaster, journals

Inspirational Sunday

I believe this quote is especially for me, since I have been procrastinating packing for college. Even though I know it has to be done, I am really dreading it partly because I don't know where to start. But, this quote also goes for your own dreams and goals that you have for your life. You say you want be an actress, well enroll in some acting classes and even go out and audition; you honestly don't know what will happen if you don't take that leap of faith and start making your goals and dreams a reality. Yes, even though you may start a task does not mean it may end the way you hoped, but don't stop.  Instead of just writing on your to-do list, actually get check things off on the list by getting things done, and the only way to do that is to start.  I know, it is painful to start especially if it something you don't want to do, but once it's done you will be grateful and even feel accomplished.  This quote also goes with another saying, "Why put off things until tomorrow, when you can do it today?"

Back to School | College Dorm Room Inspiration

This post is to start my back to school and college series here on my blog. This fall will be my freshmen year in college. And can I say college dorm room shopping was fun and I still need to pick up a couple more items; Pinterest has definitely gave me so much insight and inspiration as to how I want to design and organize my room.  I have also been watching so many Dorm Room Tours on YouTube. So here are a few of my dorm room inspirations I found on Pinterest.

My roommate and I have decided on the color scheme of pink, turquoise, and grey for our dorm room, so once I move in and set up my dorm; I will surely have another post all about My dorm room because as I stated the pictures above are only inspirations of what I found on Pinterest.
