As you all may or may not know, I am finally on winter break. My last final was on December 18th, and I was totally ready to get that last final done with especially since it was Microeconomics. If you all would like, I can do a post about what my first semester of college was like and maybe include a few advice and organizational tips.
The point being is that I haven't been home since Thanksgiving Break, and didn't have a chance to show the Christmas Decorations throughout my house, and also include a cute DIY project. Enjoy the pictures below.
My mom bought the snowflakes seen in almost all the picture below, a long time ago, so she did not recall where she bought them from, sorry.
This is my sister wreath hung on her door. She already had the printed monogram, but she used ribbon to wrap it around the wreath and add a snowflake to the top.
Our Tree
DIY Project
Materials Needed:
Mason Jar
Fake/Real Flowers
Tissue Paper (Any Color)
Silver Beads (to fill the bottom of Mason Jar)
Ribbon (optional)
As you can see we filled the mason jar with silver beads and then added the blue tissue paper and then our silver flowers. Around the mason jar, my sister tied a bow on it as well as added the snowflakes around the jar.
If you would like to take this a bit farther, you can always spray paint the mason jar.
Flower Pot Reindeer
Materials Needed (All material can be found at a dollar store):
Flower Pot
Googly Eyes
Red pom poms
Brown Pipe Cleaners
Brown Paint
Paint brushes
Bell
Glue
Ribbon (optional)
Start off with painting the flower pot brown. Then I glued the red pom pom for the nose and googly eyes. I chose to add eyelashes so it can be a bit girly. I tied my pipe cleaners to the bell on the inside (see picture below) and had the pipe cleaners coming from the top hole of the flower pot.
