I loved my first time visiting Washington, DC and exploring all it has to offer, although I still don't believe that I discovered all of it, let's just say most of it. Anyways, I honestly did not know how close Virginia and DC was, so in actuality I stayed at a hotel in Virginia but Washington, DC was literally 5 minutes away. But here are some pictures of my time there in Virginia/DC. Hope you all enjoy.!
My mother, sister, and I actually went on a bus tour of Washington, where the tour guide gave us insight of the different landmarks while riding on the bus, and also stopping on the way so we could take pictures and discover a little bit more. Unfortunately, the day, that we signed up for the tour was a rainy day. So that is why most of these pictures aren't as sunny and bright.
On another day, we visited some museums and walked around the city. That day was a much brighter and sunny day, as you can tell in the pictures below.
I enjoyed all of my time while visiting Washington, DC and I definitely want to go back one day to discover more of what the city has to offer.

I've been to DC several times and I still don't think I've seen all of it! My favorite place there is Georgetown Cupcake, did you get to try it? It looks like you had a lot of fun! :)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I didn't have the chance to try any of those cupcakes. But will definitely put that on my list when I go back one day. I really did enjoy my time there.
