Highlight and Contour

Highlight and Contour

After I apply my full face foundation, I go underneath my eyes  and draw a triangle with the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer (Cafe). Also with that concealer, I apply it to the middle of my forehead, down my nose, and a little on my chin.

I also apply the L.A Girl Pro Concealer (Dark Cocoa) on the hallows of my face, around my forehead, and down the side of my nose.

I blend everything out with my fake beauty blender. Then I go in and set my concealer with my Covergirl Translucent Powder (Translucent Tawny) and let that set for some time which is the "baking" process. I use an all over brush and swept the excess powder off from my "highlighted" areas.

Just to set what I already contoured, I use my Shea Moisture Illuminating Powder (Mandaly Dusk),  to give my face some more dimension.

Not my own picture, but my overall process of highlight and contour as described above.

That is my overall baking and contouring method, and there are so many tutorials out there on YouTube if you need more of a visual.

Eyebrow Routine | Spring 2016

Of course, knowing me, I forgot to take include the spoolie in the picture above, which I honestly use a lot on my eyebrows. For my everyday eyebrows, I do not do anything too dramatic. I just like my eyebrows to look as natural as can be.

Kiko Infinity Eyeshadow (289 Mat Dark Oak)
Maybelline Great Lash Mascara (Clear)
Maybelline FitMe Concealer (Cafe)
NYX Automatic Eyebrow Pencil (Dark Brown)
EcoTools Flat Angle Brush
ELF Flat Liner Brush

For my eyebrows,  I use both an eyebrow pencil and eyeshadow. I first use my spoolie and brush out my eyebrows and then I use the NYX eyebrow pencil to line my eyebrows and get the shape I desire. I then go in with my flat angle brush with my Kiko eyeshadow and fill in my brows using a light hand.

After I fill in my brows with the eyeshadow, I use the concealer with my flat liner brush to clean up around my brows, and ten just blending it all out with my finger at the end. Finally, to help my eyebrows stay in place all day, I use the clear mascara by Maybelline.

Have a great day.!

Simple Fall Makeup

I absolutely love fall and the nice weather that comes with it, but of course living in Georgia the weather is so unpredictable" one minute it's raining, then 60 degrees, and then all the way up to 76 degrees. Here is the makeup look I've been wearing a lot so far for fall. I feel like this makeup look is simple and easy, just because I do attend college, and have 8am classes, so this is not a full on glam look.

Kiko Cosmetic Purchase

While in one of the malls in Washington, DC, I stumble across this store called Kiko Cosmetics. And it is actually an Italian Company where they only have select stores in the United States. When I went into the store what really caught my eye was how affordable these prices were. This is pretty much like a high end company with drugstore prices, which I completely loved and had to pick up myself a few  products.

I thought this would be perfect to fill in my eyebrows with'; I just need to use a light hand when applying. I had to buy the container, also because the actual eyeshadow just comes in a pan, just like a MAC eyeshadow, but again it wasn't that expensive.

Infinity Eyeshadow ( 289: Mat Dark Oak): $8.00

Empty Case with Repositionable System: $2.00

This jumbo lipgloss stick is glossy on the lips, but not too sticky. I love this color pink on my lips.

Creamy Lipgloss ( 109: Pearly Fushia): $9.00

I wanted to try a new mascara, so of course I picked one up at this store. It is suppose to add volume to your lashes, and it really does do wonders for my itty bitty lashes.

Ultra Tech Mascara (Black): $10.00

I always wanted to try a roller perfume stick, so I thought I would try this brand. This scent is so nice and natural, and the perfume comes with a dust bag.

Eau de Toilette (Rose and Cherry): $13.00

Micro Eyebrow pencil that comes with a mini brush on one end, and then the actual pencil on the other end. I've been using this pencil to outline my eyebrows since I bought it, and I've thoroughly enjoyed it since.

Precision Eyebrow Pencil ( 01: Brunette): $9.00

Perfect shade to add the perfect touch of rosey look on the cheeks that is not too shimmering at all.

Mosaic Blush( 04: Passionate Mauve): $13.00

I bought the next two items from Ulta Beauty Store and at that time Maybelline had a Buy one Get one for 50% off on their products

Maybelline's Master Prime is a primer for the face and I bought the one that is suppose to blur and illuminate the skin. This is a relatively new product from Maybelline, and I love the way it feels on my skin and it really smells nice, and this also have SPF 30, which is always a bonus to me,

Maybelline Face Studio Master Prime Blur + Illuminate: $8.99

This BB cream from Maybelline is a repurchase for me, because I absolutely love it. It is light on the face and perfect for the summer.

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream (Deep): $9.99
